Jonty has always had a passion for cooking. After selling Hoads, his much-loved kids' shoe shop on Sevenoaks High Street, he found himself working alongside his wife in her growing nursery business, Tinkers and Tribe.

What began as helping out — cooking 12 lunches a day for the nursery — quickly grew into something far bigger. Today Jonty prepares 160 meals a day and bakes for 80 children four times a week, all from The Bell Inn kitchen in Golden Green, where he holds a 5-star food hygiene rating.

With an assistant chef now on board, Jonty has turned his attention to new ventures. He hosts globe-trotting Monthly Supper Clubs with menus developed by feeding friends and family, caters private events across Kent, and has opened Chart Farm Restaurant — his countryside destination for seasonal British cooking, honest ingredients and warm hospitality.
